Maggie Rose Paine

Hello, my name is Maggie Rose. I love doing Silver Noodle Soup. I love reading Horrid Henry books.

I love playing the role of The Chef in The Old Cold Hearts Club. I love the Tellytubbies (EH-OH).

I love Sally and Thompson both playing Buster.

I’m a Telly-Maggie. I love making Tubby Toast and Tubby Custard. I love singing Immortality by Céline Dion. I love singing Big and Tiny (big mouse and tiny mouse). I love tweenies and tellytubbies.

I wrote a book called The Uncle Butterfly Papers. It was published by me. It’s about Rolf Harris, Woody Herman, and cupcakes. It’s also about the tellytubbies and eh-oh and dancing (Da-dum-duuuum).

Aurora Symon Pellatt

I am Aurora, and I do Silver Noodle Soup. I like coming here cause it gives me the opportunity to do actual theatre stuff. I liked doing the 6-nights show because we had more rehearsals, which gave us more time to improve all our different scenes. I thought it was awesome that I was able to stay in it with my character Sally Vie in The Old Cold Hearts Club. I also liked doing the Parliament performance because it was my first time being in the beehive.

I like mainly being in front of the camera when we do short films or the 48-hour film festival. I like when we do exercises, games, and dancing around in a circle in the mornings for warm-up.

Outside of Silver Noodle Soup, I like doing lots of things:

  • singing different waiata in Te Reo Māori

  • my social group and Crafts School at the Johnsonville Library

  • swimming at the pool

  • doing paint by numbers artworks

  • baking and cooking

  • walking my Nana’s dog

  • watching movies

  • and listening to different types of music.

Nick Johnson

My name is Nick. I've been part of Silver Noodle Soup for nine years. First, I started off at Onslow College as a school student. We started off doing films and as time went on, we became a successful business.
I do voluntary work at Zealandia, and am an athlete for the Special Olympics. I'm also a client at Manaaki Ability Trust in Lower Hutt. I'm part of the board of trustees for Recreate and for Silver Noodle Soup. I enjoy doing photography and sometimes I like art — sketching and drawing, and sometimes painting.

Musical theatre is in my blood because I got it from my mum. I was very skilled with drama back at Onslow College as it became my favourite subject. I did levels 1, 2, and 3 and passed all of them! I first started doing drama in Year 10.

I enjoy doing plays, drama workshops, and dance warmups and vocal warmups. And I do enjoy doing the film sequences too as an actor. The 48-hour film festival was my very first big film and it became a real big hit. Back in 2024, we won the ‘Best Exit’ award — which was me chasing after Callum driving the car while Leo was smiling about the dead body hidden behind the chimney (although behind the scenes it was actually Stevie driving the car).

I’m also a very good hiker. I’ve done quite a few hikes with my dad, and even my grandad.

Caitlyn Leong

I'm Caitlyn. I like Silver Noodle Soup because it is fun. I like doing drama every Wednesday. I did drama at Onslow College in 2017 and we did a School Production of West Side Story. I liked doing The Old Cold Hearts Club for six nights because it was fun and happy. After the show I felt very happy. I like dancing with Nick Johnson and Leo Kelly on the stage and I like being on the stage.

I like playing piano every morning, and sailing at Evans Bay which is close to the airport. I like walking with my neighbour’s dogs — their names are Summer and Harry. They are both labradors.

I am a pianist and write my own music. I go swimming at Naenae Pool every Saturdays. And I like going shopping at Queensgate and go to Smiggle.

I’m very good at hearing notes and saying what they are. If you ask me what notes are in F# major, I can tell you all of them. My favourite food is Nemo and Chips, and noodles. I cook noodles every night for every lunch and dinner. I make my own lunch to bring to Silver Noodle Soup and Sailing Regatta. I got certificates afterwards, and a sailing hat.

I like to sail solo when the wind blows. When I’m sailing, I feel warm, and it makes me calm. I really enjoy watching the Qantas, Jetstar, and Air New Zealand planes take off and landing.

Callum Clark

My name is King Callum Clark. I'm a drag queen. My drag name is Ruby Diamond, and she was in the show The Old Cold Hearts Club. I had my solo piece with me and Nick doing a lipsync to Shallow, sung by Jthan Morgan (Dame Jthan) and Stevie. I love dancing with Hannah at Silver Noodle Soup.

I’m a singer, dancer, a hip hop dancer, and I dance lots. I do dance classes with my dance teacher Miss Emma from Elevate. My sister Haidee used to teach me before.

I’m an uncle, I am a leader. I am handsome, and kind, courage, and always with my friends. I work at the Wainuiomata Rugby Club and I was awarded the trophy for Bar Staff of the Year! And now I am co-manager.

My favourite song is Where Is My Husband?

I go to Makaaki with Nick, where I do sewing, Fun Fit, and graphic design.

I started at Silver Noodle Soup years ago and I met everyone. I love my friends.

I’m going to be the King of Wainuiomata.

Leo Kelly

Well, I'm Leo Kelly here right. They said I saw something... Some dancing and singing. 'Back to Black' — watch closely. (Extravagant yawn). Writing out numbers in The Old Cold Hearts Club. My favourite things to do are:

  • some writing numbers

  • puzzling please

  • biking

My favourite thing about Silver Noodle Soup is I might see my friends. Maybe I should do my trick (he can do a full handstand).

Leo sings and plays guitar, and is a fantastic dancer. Leo often falls asleep and we all have to say “1, 2, 3… WAKE UP JEFF!” and Leo wakes up and shakes his face: “Bluehgleughgleugh” and “thanks for waking me up everyone!”

I like Silver Noodle Soup because it's something fun to do. I like singing and dancing and telling stories and other things like that. I liked telling Baby Shakespeare and Baby Van Gogh on stage during our show The Old Cold Hearts Club. I liked dancing with everyone as well.

I like to go outside and have some fun in the sunshine. I enjoy being with my friends. Christmas is the best time of year because I love getting presents and being with my family. I go horse riding, and then I come back home again.

Alex Walsh

I love drama so much! I started acting at age 16. I love Silver Noodle Soup because I love acting. I've done lots of performing jobs and I also do Miranda Harcourt's drama classes at Rātā Studios. 
I love anything at drama. I loved The Old Cold Hearts Club because I like dancing and acting the whole time and performing for the audience.

I play guitar and take guitar lessons, play basketball. I love dancing and take classes at WI Dance and with Lisa in Masterton.

I lift weights and they weigh 285kgs and I do ab workouts.

I like hanging out with my family and playing Minecraft.

I like doing Silver Noodle Soup because it's fun. I like dancing in Silver Noodle Soup. I like coming to Wednesday drama class to visit friends. I like doing the 6-nights show at the Hannah Playhouse. And I like learning my script for the 6-night show.

Outside of Silver Noodle Soup, I like watching Barney the show on TV, playing card games like Uno, hanging outside with friends and family and dance music.

I love music, drama, and the arts. I am in a choir, drama group, play violin and piano and am learning the euphonium.

I love dancing, Pilates, horse riding, sports, walking, art, reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

I volunteer at the Red Cross Shop and go to All Saints church services.

My name is Nicholas Smith. My pronouns are he him or they them and I am an award best performing actor from the 2015 fringe festival when me and Active won 6 awards that year.

My favourite things at silver noodle soup is performing or role plays and photography.

I always keep playing Get on Your Feet with Stevie as well as that Shiny Happy People.

I have been in shows with Everybody Cool Lives Here like Wake Up Tommorow and No Post on Sunday.

In 2017 I did Secrets of the Special Olympics with Stevie and Barney and George. Here is a link to watch it

I'm Tess. I was born in Brisbane, on the Gold Coast. I grew up in Tauranga. I’m 36 1/2, almost 37. October 7. I like acting at Silver Noodle Soup because it's really good. I like meeting new people. I would like to be famous.

My favourite thing we have done is acting in real life. In the show. My favourite game at Silver Noodle Soup is Grandma’s Keys (I prefer to be the stealer, but it’s okay, it’s acting —it’s not real life).

I do swimming on Wednesdays. I do swimming tournaments, they are coming up in August or September. I do special Olympics swimming.

I like to hang out with my friends and boyfriend, watch tv —Shortland Street. Maeve is my favourite character. I go to the gym on Mondays, do the bikes and exercise. I like going to the movies and for dinner. I do relationships group (at Maranga). I do activisim on Wednesdays.

I did a dance show last year. My dance teacher is Sumara Fraser. She helps us to do our dancing thing with Alex Walsh.

I like dancing on a Saturday. Every second Friday is Fuse night. I go with my boyfriend. Sometimes I do karaoke night with Silver Noodle Soup. I work at Vinnies in Porirua. I used to do Wake Up Tomorrow with Stevie.
